COPYING my wordpress blog to another domain name

  Hi all,

  I have a site set up on a domain, hosted on my ISP. Today I registered another domain, and want to COPY my first blog to the new domain and have it properly working there. The files are all located in the same general area, just under the different domain names…

  So I am hoping this is simple.

  I searched for instructions to do this, and got many complex guides on doing this… all of which are rather over my head.

  I backed my entire site up to my local hard drive, so I should be safe to attempt this, but I really need a very short, very precise (no discussion, just actions) set of steps to perform the copy, if at all possible.

  I don’t need or want to understand what I am doing… I just need to know what to do, so that I can do it rather hastilly.

  It doesn’t sound as though either domain has anything to do with WordPress.com. If these are WordPress blogs hosted somewhere other than WordPress.com, your question belongs at WordPress.ORG.
