copying some posts from present blog to new blog

  I have a blog now on wordpress and soon want to start another one different but on related and different health topics. I wish to copy some of the postings from the present blog to use on the new blog. How would I go about this? Thanks.

  hi cherrished
  If its just some posts:. just copy the old post code to new posts with HTML editor and publish them

  you might have some blanks where the pictures were(in the old posts).
  if this happens you will have to re upload pictures for your new blog posts.

  Thanks I’ll try that, haven’t set the new blog up yet, but it makes sense.

  But if you copy your post from the blog, not the editor, and paste it into the visual editor, I think you’ll get everything including the pics.
  I am on a phone now so I cannot test it.
  But I think I have done this.

  possibly,
  but the image reference’s (the links to you media files) will still be to the origional blog.

  If works, good. but if your images do not show up: its just a matter of re uploading them
