Copy/Paste not holding format

  OK… say I start writing a post.. I format the text with colors and italics… then I decide that I want it to actually be part of a re-edited existing post… I select and copy from my current WRITE window, but when I paste into the new editing window of the target post, the formatting (italics and colors) are gone. Any suggestions to help me avoid re-formatting every time?

  did you click on the HTML tab before copying the text. ?

  Yup, the only way is to do it from the html editor. Write and format in the visual editor if you want, but copy and paste from the html editor.
