A guest post I had written for a website gave me credit. My WordPress account was linked to their website. Moreover, the article was posted in my name. But, after a few days, my name was removed and the website took ownership of the content. I sent them mail concerning credit but received no response. To safeguard my content, I have posted it in my blog. I want the website to remove my content. Kindly help.

Hi there!
What is the address of the site in question?
Also, have a look at this page where you’ll find more information about copyright infringement:https://wordpress.com/support/copyright-infringement-what-to-do/

This is the link address. Sadly, my article was removed from my blog due to the site owner’s false complaint.
Seems like I can’t do anything to gain credit for my work until WordPress does something.

Requesting you to please help. I have all proof stating that the article was first posted in my name. After a few days the site took ownership.
If given a viable email id, I can send the proofs and screenshots. I was a guest post writer not a ghostwriter. So I deserve credit for my work though it’s posted on another site.
As a writer, my article is important to me. Kindly help.

We are not able to help with this via forums, so please fill this form: https://automattic.com/dmca-notice/. Once you’ve done that, our Terms Of Service team will get back to you.

Thank you staff-mckluskey. I did send a counter notice to the DMCA notice I received. But my article was removed and my notice wasn’t heeded.
It’s my sincere request that WordPress should have some regulations for guest posting. Content being falsely owned by such websites is a growing issue amongst writers.
