If I start to write about my work on word press, does word press gives it a copyright automatically or do I have to register my work with the library of congress as a copyright prior to posting it on Word press. Thanks -
All original text published on a blog on WP.com is copyright the creator the minute it’s created. You don’t have to do anything, although it might be fun to send the NSA a Christmas card yearly to thank them for the free, cloud-based backup of everything.

Oh, i was just joking about the American National Security Agency and the way they spy on and copy everything. A “free cloud-based backup” as some call it.

A person has to spend so much time trying to figure out each step . Then it occurred to me maybe WP wants someone to go premium in order to get someone live answer all the questions.

Not at all – the documentation here is actually quite good – but you have been here only one week and while WordPress software is easy to use, like any other program that is designed to also work with the likes of CNN.com, there is a lot of power and features that can be a bit overwhelming to start.
