  Is it necessary to put a copyright clause on your blog?

  Copyright is vested with the original creator whether or not a copyright notice is posted. It’s not necessary to post a copyright notice but it is advisable as content and image theft is rampant and notices will deter some thieves, just as it’s advisable to watermark your images.
