copyright and permission for clipart

  Dear Administrator,
  Please tell me if it is legal and ethical to use clip art from Google. I understand about free sites and paid sites but there are different opinions on simply clicking on topics downloading pictures and clip art to use on blogs. I thought it was acceptable but have been seeing articles suggesting that it is not. I started removing the clip art from my posts and wondered if it was necessary. Thanks for your help.

  You first need to verify that the license for your images allows you to use them in the way you want to– you can’t just take any random image you find in a Google search.

  Thank you so much. This will be a great help. I’ve removed most of my clip art from my blog and will start over.
