Copyright Infringement
-
Hi! The website I manage keeps having articles stolen from it. I’ve tried many times to contact the website that stole the content. Is there any way I could get it taken down?

Hi there,
Sorry to hear about your issue! Sadly the site rapidshift.net appears to be a self-hosted WordPress (also called “.org”) site hosted on Domain.com Web Hosting, and not a site hosted on our WordPress.com service.
You can confirm here: https://gwhois.org/rapidshift.net+dns
To clarify, we are not the only providers of WordPress sites, and Domain.com also happens to offer WordPress sites, but they use a different version of the platform than what we use here. Because of this we are not able to help directly with this copyright request. Because we don’t host rapidshift.net we do not have the power to remove content.
However, I do see that you an report this with Domain.com directly by following the steps they recommend here: https://www1.domain.com/legal/legal-dmca.html
For the future, we have guidance here on what you can do as a site owner to prevent content theft: https://wordpress.com/support/prevent-content-theft/
Hope this helps point you in the right direction!
