copyright infringment

  Hi guys.

  I recently blogged the following post, http://beaumartinez.wordpress.com/2009/04/28/morality-or-lack-thereof/, but have seen another website “copy+paste” it without any mention, infringing on my copyright. The post in the infringing page is http://wisconsinhumanesociety.net/2009/04/28/morality-or-lack-thereof/. Don’t be fooled, it only takes a few moments to realise this is a spam site, ripping content from many other blogs.

  Can the higher powers that be help me on this one? I don’t want my posts stolent!

  Any advice?

  Please note that the URLs both have a trailing comma and a trailing dot, respectively.

  Nobody at WordPress.com can do anything because that site is not hosted here; it’s self-hosted with free software from wordpress.org.

  Please review http://support.wordpress.com/content-theft-what-to-do/ for how to file a DMCA notice against the site and its host.

  Thank you ellaella! But I’m not a fan of the DMCA; I’ll use it anyway.
