COPYRIGHT NOTICE

Good morning. I am keen on protecting the content of my blog, before starting to publish. As I will upload images and original texts, I want to be sure nobody will illegally reproduce them, and if so, that I am on the safe side. I have been reading some articles and one of the precautions is to add at the bottom of the blog page the copyright notice. How can I do that? Thank you.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

There is no way to prevent your content from being copied. If you publish content on a public website, people will be able to copy it. Nothing you can do can stop it. A copyright notice might give some people pause, but in the end copyright law is there to protect your rights when someone steals your content, not to prevent it from happening to start with.

If you want to add a copyright notice to your blog you can do so using a text widget in your site’s sidebar or footer:
