Copyright notice for licensed header photo

I bought an image to use as a header. The stock-photo site requires a copyright notice. How do I put a notice into or just under the header?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You could put it in as a watermark on the image you upload – crop a copy to the correct size – exact to the pixel counts – then just add a watermark in the corner with your photo editing program

You can’t link the image to the site. You can’t place it just under the header. You can only place the link in a text widget in your sidebar.

That will work but most sites insist on a “live” link and there’s not way to do that in a header image. -
My sheltered life I guess – I only use pictures I have taken myself or a few that I had a friend help me with and a credit at the bottom of the article was enough for him
