copyright notice inserted in twent twelve theme

    I’m using the theme twenty twelve and wish to insert a copyright notice. Preferably in the footer. Is there any way of doing this other than using the text widget in the side bar? Thanks

    Hi there,

    Modifying the footer can be a tricky situation, as we request that this information not be changed as a general rule. You can change the color, but not the actual verbiage. As long as you keep our Copyright information intact, then you’re welcome to insert additional copyright changes to the footer if you’d like.

    To do so, you’ll need to insert the following CSS code in your Customizer by logging in to your Dashboard and then going to Appearance >> Customizer >> CSS.

    .site-info:before {
	content: "(your copyright information here)";
}
