copyright protection

Since, “If you require plugins, you’ll need to acquire your own hosting.” I am unable to use the Open Attribute for WordPress plugin. But I seem to recall reading that Word Press does offer some copyright protection. Can you tell me about that? I’m not that computer savvy, so I’m not comfortable with the idea of moving to WordPress.org, where I would have to be my own host.

Is there a way I can mark my posts with “copyright” without using a plugin? Thanks.
