Copyright protection

    Hi!

I would like a copyright protection that makes it hard to copy my pictures from my site.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Online it’s always possible to copy the images from someone’s site if you try hard enough.

I know it can be frustrating but instead of doing that it’s probably better to include a page or text widget that contains your copyright policy to make your site visitors aware of what you’re granting them permission to do (like display an image if they’re writing a review of your work) and what not to do (print your work on a t-shirt and sell it for profit).

One thing you can do is to watermark your images before you upload them so that they’re less likely to be used for nefarious purposes and viewers who might come across them elsewhere on the web can see your name and URL to track you down should they like your art.

Another thing is to use a reverse image search to see if your pictures are being used anywhere else online and then make contact with the website owners if they’re not playing fair. Google and TinyEye are the go-to choices for this. I think you can ever track viewers through your stats page in your main dashboard.
