Copyright question

  Hi. WP has taken my blog offline because of a copyright issue. They say they are legally obliged to. Once I resolve this with the alleged copyright holder, do you know whether all the material — the alleged infringing material, plus my OWN material, plus comments and pictures — will be put back? My guess is that WP takes the material offline pending a resolution, but does not wipe it out. If it did, it would be wiping out a lot of non-contentious material as well. Can anyone confirm this? Obviously, I am waiting for a formal answer on this from WP.

  Potential loss of an entire blog is a pretty major issue: is there any legal or other dept at WP I can actually call?
