    I wanted to know if I have to copyright the wordpress website i made is it already copyrighted once i make it or do i need to register it for copyright?

    You always have copyright on what you put on the internet. However there is no fullproof protection to prevent people from copying your content. The best way to prevent people from stealing your content is by not putting it on the internet.

  • Hey there @majorproject3, you will own all of your content here with us. If you wanted to put a copyright note on the site to remind folks that it’s your intellectual property, that’s doable; you can add it to your footer, for example, or put a note below each post. Is that what you have in mind?

    And as @staartmees said, there’s no real way to guarantee people won’t steal your content if it’s on the web, but most countries will give you some legal protection. Here’s info on DMCA, for example. This article is geared more toward people who have violated somebody else’s copyright, but I think it could help answer some of your questions, too:
