  Hi, I recently found this website — https://som2ny.com which I believe violates copyright law. It contains an article written by me, Maggie Brown — https://som2ny.com/2018/07/20/mega-millions-drawing-tonight-with-over-400m-up-for-grabs/

  The website asks for your email address for registration through WordPress, but you don’t actually register for anything. I believe this is an abuse of WordPress, its policies and against copyright law. I would like WordPress to take the site down but it is “powered” by WordPress rather than a .wordpress site. What should I do?

  Hi Maggie,

  This site is using the self-hosted version of WordPress and it is not hosted by us (WordPress.com). Therefore there’s nothing we can do about it.

  You should contact the site owner or their hosting provider.
