Copyrights/Photo credits via links to original site
-
Hello,
What’s the best way to credit photographers for images used in postings? Seems that a link from the image back to the photographer’s site would work, but when I try to do this, WordPress overrides the photographer’s link and puts my blogsite’s back in.
Reference:
1. Upload image
2. See the pop-up window with you image, and spaces to fill in for title, caption, description, LINK URL, alignment and size.
3. In LINK URL, type: (for example) http://www.myphotographer.com
4. Click “post URL.”
5. At this point, the URL is overrided, and my blogsite’s URL is automatically inserted. Thanks,

First off, make sure that you have the permission of the copyright holder to post the photos.
Don’t click on the post for file URL as those will either link to the post you are righting, or link to the full-sized photo file. Click the “none” button and then put in the URL to the photographer’s site.

Thanks. It seems to work for some postings, not for others. Yes, you have the site right: http://beansandyoga.wordpress.com/
