Coraline glitch when resizing images in editor
-
After all these months there are still glitches in the Coraline theme, for example, WP says you can tweek the size of an image after uploading and after inserting into a post, by viewing with the visual editor. Drag the corners of the image to reduce or enlarge the image while it’s in the post. Yes, but only the grey border gets stretched, not the actual photo itself. So you end up with a same-sized image surrounded by a thicker grey order. Can this be fixed please?

PS
I have dozens if not hundreds of images in archive posts and pages stuck with thick grey borders because they were resized using this technique in the predecessor theme, Cutline. Most of my archived pages still look dumb because such images were not adjusted during the switch to Coraline. The make the blog look amateur. -
The very best way to treat your images is to compress and presize them so they do fit prior to uploading them into your blog. Then you will be assured to avoid such problems and the loss of image quality that occurs when one starts using WordPress software to “tweak” or brings the the cropper into play.
