Correcting DATE in BUENO template – HELP
-
My blog is reflectingthe wrong date and I can’t figure out how to correct it. It says June 12 read of today’s date July 14 – hoe can I get it to reflect the right date now and for all blog posts in the future

This is not theme dependent. The place to set your date and timezone is on this page > Settings > General. When you first begin to blog there may be some dates you will have to correct after you change that setting.
The Screen Options pull down can be found at the top right of the screen. When you click on Screen Options you will see a set of modules that can be set to show or hide. To make one of the modules show on the screen, just check the box next to it. Select these nodules. http://en.support.wordpress.com/modules/#list-of-modules
You can change the date in the Publish module by editing each past and changing the date there.

Well, shortly after I posted this I went in and took a look through Settings , saw the time area and what is WEIRD is that the time in the settings area is CORRECT. But the display time is still wrong.
Baffled – would like to fix this

No,I was mistaken – there is a circle on the front page of my blog that says Jun 12.
posted the page on July 14
I want to fix this – how?

Open that post in the editor and change the date on it. The last two links that Timethief gives will get you there.
One thing you should think about is that if the search engines have already picked up that post then the URL they have for that post would reflect the 12th (the date of publishing is part of the URL) and if you change it then the search engines will have the wrong URL and that will produce a 404 not found error and those should be avoided. I leave it as it is and then watch as you publish your next post to see if it does it again. Since no one else has complained of this, it might have been a one-time glitch.

There is only one Post – a modified Hello World that would have been the default Post that comes with a new blog (did you start your blog on July 12?) – you must have changed it on the 14th and changed the title at the same time.
Since you only have the one Post and if it were me I would just leave it and not worry much and just start adding new Posts.
