CORS – please help

  Hello, I recently deployed a business site with wordpress.com. When I tried to access APIs from this site , it works fine in Postman. But accessing from my mobile app/simulator gives me CORS error. How do you access the .htaccess file hosted in wordpress.com ? I tried to install a plugin but that plugin couldn’t find the .htaccess file either. Could you please help how to resolve the CORS issue for wordpress.com hosted sites ? Much appreciated any help in this.
