  I thought it would be free. What is the cost if I transfer my domain name to you

  Hi there,

  In order to transfer a domain, you already own you will need to have an upgraded WordPress.com plan.

  If you upgrade you have two options: transfer the domain to WordPress.com or keep it on your current registrar and map it.
