Cost for domain mapping

  I have used a godaddy domain for my wordpress page for many years and i never got an annual payment notice. Is this a new payment?
  I do not remember paying this mapping annualy
  13 USD a year?

  then to map it here with wordpress costs additional $13 a year ?
  if i buy the domain in wordpress, then i do not pay the mapping?

  or maybe they are talking about the blog?

  I will flag this for the staff – they can look at your billing history

  Dashboard >> Store >> Billing History

  But $13.-/yr is the correct amount for Domain Mapping – your site has Domain Mapping and your name servers are pointing properly to WordPress.COM

  but to me from the outside things look normal

  You pay domain mapping no matter where the name is purchased from

  sometimes the cost is hidden – if you buy the $99 package for instance domain mapping is included – if you by hosting from another company – Blue Host for instance – the price of the equivalent of Domain Mapping is included in the cost of hosting

  Note: once a domain name is registered outside of WordPress.COM the registration can’t be transferred to WordPress.COM
