Cost of domains after upgrading to 'free' domain with plan.

  Are there domain renewal or other cost involved (or any other cost) if I choose a wordpress.com plan with a free domain?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  All upgrades except Premium Themes on WordPress.com has to be renewed annually. If you register a domain as part of a plan, the domain will be renewed every year as part of the plan – there is no additional cost to renew the domain.

  However, should you cancel the plan and renew only the domain going forward, you will need to pay the full cost for the domain. That cost depends on the type of domain you register.
