Cost of migrating from GoDaddy

    I am looking to migrate to WordPress.
    I already have a domain held with GoDaddy and my host is Wix.
    Based on my understanding, it will cost a total of $60/yr to both cost my website on WordPress and use it as my registrar, is that correct? I am basing this cost off the ‘Personal’ option.
    Also, are there any tutorials to move my domain from GoDaddy to WordPress that you would recommend?

    Hi there,

    To transfer your domain to us will require the Personal Plan, yes. The plan includes a free domain for the first year, which you can use to transfer your existing domain to us, and the transfer will also extend the domain by another year.

    However, from the second year onwards the domain renewal is separate from the plan, so the annual renewal cost would be $60 for the plan, plus the renewal cost of the domain. You can see the current renewal cost for the domain extensions we support here:
