Cost of upgrading
-
I have started a free blog but want to upgrade to my own domain name. Do I understand it correctly that I can upgrade for $14.97 a year for a domain name for my site as long as I stay within the maximum storage size? So the $14.97 covers the domain name and hosting?
Thanks!

Free WordPress.com blogs come with 3000 megabytes (~3 GBs) of space for storing uploaded files and images. We can purchase space upgrades. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/space-upgrade/
Each upgrade is for a single specific service and applies only to one blog for one year when it must be renewed.

Hosting is free to 3G – the $ 15– is for the Domain name registration and Domain Mapping.
Kool – a cycling about where I used to live and my Dad & Grandpa lived all their lives. Small internet I guess.

Thanks Timethief.
My blog is far from being finished but in a month or two I should have more bike routes added.
