Cost to build website

  Hi, I want to make my own website using wordpress. Do I need to pay per month or am I able to pay a one off fee and own the website for life?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can view the plans and pricing here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
  It is going to be dependent on what you are using your site for. I suggest looking over the plans and feel free to ask any questions you may have about the differences. The plans are calculated /month and are billed yearly.

  Thank you for your help.

  I have had a look at the plans. My question is, are you able to pay for the website and completely own the website upfront or do you need to pay the annual fee each year to keep it going?

  Each plan is calculated /month and billed annually or every two years. You must continue to pay every one or two years (depending on your selection) to keep the site up and running. :)
