  Of which one-year free trial are you speaking? We don’t offer any free trials on WordPress.com.

  When you buy an upgrade plan on WordPress.com it includes one free domain registration, but that is not a free trial – you pay for the plan immediately, and the following year you’ll pay for the plan’s renewal, as well as the renewal of the domain you registered along with the plan.
