  Hello, I wanted to know how I can customize my blog. I want to add email subscriptions, smaller social media icons, customize my menu tabs. In all I want my blog to look more like a website. Does paying the upgrade offer these options and many more or can I do this without the upgrade?

  You wouldn’t need the upgrade for e-mail subscriptions:

  Your theme (oxygen) supports custom menus, so you’re good there too:
  Menus support page
  If you want to change your social media icons, that would require the Custom Design upgrade, because you need to be able to edit the CSS.
