Could a strange site referring to my blog be harmful to my site? Can you help?

  I have a strange site referring to my blog.

  A strange referral will not affect your site’s security or content – sometimes the referrals are spam referrals – guess they want you to visit them or something

  It totally is spam. I read somewhere that bogus sites with links to yours can bring your ratings down…I’m just paranoid that something bad is going to happen!
