could it be a option whether to use Akismet

    It says “Akismet has caught 5 spam for you since you installed it.”
    I just find 2 of them and neither is spam…
    since I can only see the “spams” in the latest 15 days and I cannot check that all the time , I lost the other 3….
    Could that plugin be a optional one?

    Well, I don’t think you can fully disable your Akismet, but you can sure as hell train it. Goto Options >> Discussion and click when all you want a comment to be help. Then in your Akismet, if you feel a comment is not spam, then just select it and click “Not Spam” and then a comment by that IP will never be held again!
