Could my post be Freshly Pressed and I not know it?
-
I just read about Freshly Pressed on WordPress.com. I have one blog post that gets many hits for years now. It has a unique title “Calling Eppiglottis A Bitch Is A Vast Understatement” I really don’t know why so many people read this all the time (of course I’m pleased). I’m wondering if this was “Freshly Pressed” and I wasn’t made aware of it? Can someone please get back to me? hibernationnow.wordpress.com

I have no idea what a “referrer” is. :) not all of us are computer savvy! it would say referred by freshly pressed? in the blog? could it have gone in SPAM?
-
Look on your stats page – on the left side you should see a section on Referrers – that will show if you are getting traffic from some place that links to your site or an individual Post – sounds like you have a Post that is very popular – it does happen from time to time

I have a question relating to this. Would it show “freshly pressed” in the refferrer section? Or WordPress.com?
Thanks!

I did but I didn’t see anything recently, you must admit it gets a ton of hits. is there anyway you could do a scan from your end? Please? I just found out the same thing happened to a friend of mine. Many thanks. Laurie

There’s no way any Volunteer can scan anything at all on any blog. I tagged this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

You’ll definitely get an email from us, see Freshly Pressed as a referrer, and see over a thousand views in one day.
Your blog has not been Freshly Pressed (yet).
