Could My Site Be Hacked?
-
I an experiencing unusual manifestations on my traffic analysis stat account regarding my blog. A few days ago it appeared someone was trying to hack into my blog as a person came to my home page url about 78 times in a 36 hour period. So I changed my password. Now yesterday a url not belonging to my blog shows up on my log: http://www.suzanneboswell.top/blog/3208551/how-to-get-tons-of-traffic-to-your-website/
My blog is fierytrial.wordpress, It is a free site. I do not want to upgrade as every penny counts in my life.
The suspicious url ip address points to China Mobile Guangdong (183.253.80.89) http://www.suzanneboswell.top/blog/3208551/how-to-get-tons-of-trafficto-your-website/
Can someone look into this please? I think it may have been hacked. I do not understand how this url can show up on my traffic counter account as if it were a page coming from my blog. Thank you for any assistance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When someone is able to hack your wordpress.com website, it means they know your login and password for wordpress.com and your email. Make sure you have a strong password and activate 2FA for wordpress.com and if possible your email. Avoid the use of open wifi and public computers.

Can anyone help me with this? I assume this problem is related to what I previously describe, but is there any recourse to address the following for those holding free accounts on WordPress.com sites? My url at https://www.fierytrial.wordpress is throwing off warnings in different browsers
——————————–
Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead
Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue ….
—————-
Chrome states
Your connection is not private….NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID
Is there a way to fix this on free wordpress.com? Thanks again.

The only correct URL to your site is https://fierytrial.wordpress.com/. http://www.fierytrial.wordpress doesn’t even excist, nor does http://www.fierytrial.wordpress.com. That’s why you get those errors.

Ah, ok! You see how savvy I am about this stuff. Thank you again staartmees! You have been very helpful!

Hi there,
Just a clarification – you can use the www version of your site’s address if you prefer, but then only type it in/share it as
www.fierytrial.wordpress.com. If you type inhttps://www.fierytrial.wordpress.com/you will see that warning, due to the way SSL (what enables your site to load over a secure https connection) is configured on WordPress.com. -
Hi! I see what your are saying. The “https” is producing a security warning when combined with “www” in the url address. I feel better to know its not something lurking in my blog producing the warning. Thank you so much for clarifying the issue!
