could not confirm deletion from email account

  I deleted my account – went to my email and clicked on the link. WordPress told me it had timed out and to try again. Same result

  WordPress.com doesn’t have the option to delete an account, but you can cancel email notifications and remove your personal information: https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/

  As to your blog, it’s been deleted. The message I see is: kowalski966fm.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.

  Thanks Mr micawbr I see the blog is gone. I have been trying to get started and have had to remove a couple of aborted efforts.
