Could not publish my blog throough word 2007

i tried to use publish blog feature in word 2007, but i was unable to to so…
i tried putting myselfakkie.wordpress.com/xmlrpc.php and then my UID and PWD… but i was unable to publish help meThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I would recommend against posting something with Word.

I would say Windows Live Writer is well worth a try, its feature filled, easy to use, publishes to WordPress perfectly and its free, what more could you ask.

There are some using the blog feature in Word 2007 sucessfully, but since I’ve never used it personally, I can’t tell you what you need to do.
As thehappysnapper says, Windows Live Writer seems to be a very slick blog client and I have a number of friends that rave about it. Since I’m on Mac, I can’t use it though, which is a bummer. It has a lot of very interesting and useful features. I’m hoping one of the blog clients for Mac will step up to the plate and offer the great features WLW has.

I have once used it and it created a crazy permalink with symbols, some weird formatting with spaces and linebreaks everywhere and I had to spend ages cleaning it up.
I wouldn’t recommend it at all.
