Could there be something like ‘read more’ at the end of the summary.

The front page shows summary of my posts. Thus, readers have to click on it to see the full post. I like it that way.
However, it would have been nicer if there was something like ‘read more’ at the end of the summary.
    Thankyou

That would be a suggestion to make in the Themes forum, and a good one.

Unrelated issue: you are using too many tags. Using more than 12 or so per post will get you classified as a tag spammer and essentially made invisible to search engines. You do not want this to happen. Reduce the number of tags.

You can have a read-more tag in Structure by adding content in the Excerpt field of the post editor, or by inserting the more tag and customizing it (see here).

As for your tags, note too that categories and tags are exactly the same thing: there’s no point using the same word or phrase as both a category and a tag, plus you may run into technical problems if you do that.

Thank you raincoaster and panaghiotisadam – for your fast response and also taking time to examine my blog.
I will reduce the number of categories by half.(Most are redundant anyway).

@ raincoaster. I have read the 12 tags limit previously and I been strictly observing it, except a few recent posts.
However, wordpress instruction and forum discussions lack clarity on this.
Is it 10-12 tags + categories or the limit is for each separately?(which would mean upto 12 tags and upto 12 categories).

If the limit is 12 tags + categories per post, I will have to do edit almost all posts.

If the limit is upto 12 tags and upto 12 categories per post, I think a post can have many tags as long as the total count of tags and categories per post don’t exceed 24.

    @panaghiotisadam
I will give a try your suggestion of the ‘more’ tag.

    Thank you both again.

As Panos said, categories and tags are effectively the same. That is, for purposes of search, they are the same.

Categories have a different function in terms of organizing your blog because they can be hierarchical.

    Categories vs. Tags
