could we have comments show under each post…please :)

  i could have sworn when i first started my blog that it showed the number of comments and who wrote the post under every post and not just the first one. would it be possible to have this added in to the new design since you guys are hard at work on it?

  That is the way the theme you are using is designed.

  i swear it wasn’t like that when i first started the blog. some other users commented on that in the forums here as well. someone said wordpress had made some universal changes and thought that is why it changed. if that is so then i’d love to get comments back on the frontpage for all posts to spur discussion.

  Do you mean you want the actual comments themselves on the front page? WP.com is not going to do that. It would be far too annoying on blogs that get a lot of comments. I’ve got a post that has over 900 commments. Try scrolling past that!

  no, it was just like under the first post where it tells you how many comments there are (and a link) and who posted the blogpost. i have a group blog so it’s nice to know on each post who wrote it without having to click onto the permalink page.

  I know it’s been that way for at least six month since I had thought of using it. That is one of the reasons I didn’t switch to it.
