Could you help transfer content from self-hosted site@bluehost to wordpress.com?

  I have a self-hosted site with blue host and want to import content from there to my wordpress.com blog. I tried export file in my self-host and then import in my wordpress.com site. I received an email notifying me that import was successful yet I didn’t see any change on my wordpress.com site. Could you shred light into the tunnel I’m in? Thank you.

  Is your self-hosted site a WordPress.org site? WordPress has a couple guides on importing and exporting your WordPress site into another.
