Could you please check for a problem?

I added a slideshow to my recent post – I’ve done that before without any problems.

In my computer, when I go to the site, a huge photo pops up hiding the title and the first two paragraphs of the post – sometimes it stays there for a few seconds and goes away, sometimes it won’t go away, preventing me from reading the article.

IN my husband’s computer, no problems. I would appreciate if some of you could give it a try and let me know if this problem happens in your side of the equation….

    THanks!

by the way, I am using the feature “Surprise me” and was surprised today, but still don’t know what it does :-)

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Your site — and your slideshow — look fine on my PC (Windows XP), but olive bialys??? No way!

The “surprise me” feature makes me smile, and that’s all it does . . . I think.

Don’t knock it off until you try it… :-)

I now wonder if this popping of the huge photo could be a “surprise me” thing?

oh, well – if it’s fine and no gremlins are bothering readers, I won’t worry about it. So far no one complained on the site or by email

@sallybr Clicking through to your blog, it looked fine. Returning here then clicking the Back button gave me the problem you’re seeing. What I got was a pic of the Black Olive Bialy (with which there is absolutely nothing wrong, by the way), obscuring the first item.

FYI, I’m using Firefox 3.6.3 As far as I can tell, it seems to be OK in IE8, though if it’s intermittent it’s hard to tell for sure.

    Thanks, ronsrealm

I might delete the slideshow, substitute a composite photo and see if the problem persists.

I won’t be able to do it until tonight, but I hope this won’t be too distracting for people landing on my site

thanks again…. (you use the same browser I do, by the way)
