couldn’t find my blog in google search
-
When I try to search by typing my blog name with spacing (i.e a mirage of me), nothing comes out. Somehow I need to type amirageofme in google search for my blog to pop up in the search. I’ve connected my site to Google’s search console.
Google search also does not seem to be able to recognise my posts’ titles. Is this normal?
Appreciate the help!!

Hi there,
Your site is indexed by Google:
https://www.google.co.za/search?q=site%3Ahttps%3A%2F%2Famirageofme.wordpress.com%2F
But I see you had a large gap between August 2018 and April 2021 during which you only published once (September 2020), and you’ve only been posting very intermittently since April.
Every time you publish a post, we ping Google and other search engines to let them know. But if you don’t publish often, it means fewer of these pings, meaning Google visits your site less often to index it.
Google also gives priority to current content, so if your site doesn’t regularly publish new content, it will not be ranked very high in Google’s index, and will come up less often in search results.
So what you’re experiencing is normal given how regularly you post new content on your site. The only way to have your site appear more in search results, is to start publishing new content more regularly.
We also have some information on how you can improve your site’s SEO here:
