Countdown clock not showing
-
Hi, I added the html for a countdown clock in my text widgets – but only the like to the site I made it on shows up, not the clock. Can you help? TIA!

Can you give us a link to he blog, or, even better, post the HTML? I suspect it is using javascript – which will be stripped out automatically as javascript is considered a security risk.

Here is one of the clocks I tried to use:
<div align=”center” style=”width:210px;height:230px;margin:0;padding:0;”><img src=”http://www.yourminis.com/Stats-AddEmbedMiniStatPub-widget_countdown.jpeg” style=”display:none;” height=”1″ width=”1″ />
<img border=”0″ alt=”For more widgets please visit http://www.yourminis.com”></div>and another:
<div class=”wbx-widget” id=”74f19a8a-84d2-4b4d-aaa7-eac1bf832a16″></div><img border=”0″ src=”http://widgetserver.com/syndication/images/getwdgtmark.gif” alt=”Get” title=”Get this widget from Widgetbox”/>I tried about a dozen other sites also.
My blog is http://halfmyheart.wordpress.com/thanks

On the second to “id” part of the <div> tag is being stripped out, as is the “title” part – this seems to render the whole thing useless.
On the first – I think it is not displaying because there is a “display:none” option in there – but this is only a guess. Try going back to “yourminis” and seeing other options. -

We typed at the same time… thanks for the suggestion on the mini’s site – I’ll check it out!
