  how do i add a countdown timer/counter to an upcoming event on my blog?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’m afraid that given that most timers/counters would be based on Javascript, which is stripped out for security reasons here at WordPress.com:

  it’s unlikely that you’d be able to. Perhaps you could link to one elsewhere? Or, even manually create one in a text widget?

  I think she means that you could type in how many days are left until the event, and you’d update it everyday.
