Countdown Timer & the Milestone Widget
-
I know this has been discussed before but all the posts on this topic are dated so I’m asking it again:
First let’s cover what I do know:
1. Any embed or flash or javascript based coundown timer that you can get out on the wild and wooly web won’t work on wordpress.com — because of security concerns wordpress converts the code to as simple href link.
2. I have installed the Milestone widget and it displays the correct number of months. Which in my humble opinion is very UNhelpful because a month with 1 day left in it still counts as a whole month. *sigh*
So, I want at the very least to have months and days displayed. Better yet, I’d like to have days, months, and hours displayed, but I can live with Months and days or just days.
So… how do I make this happen. I don’t care if it is using the Milestone Widget or putting in html using a website generator somewhere out on the wild wooly web. I just want a countdown timer on my blog.
HELP!!!!

All of those threads you read earlier still apply. The recommendations for countdown widgets in those threads are still accurate, so pick one of those.
