Countdown to my wedding widget

  I would like to put a countdown widget on my sidebar but I can’t seem to make one work.
  I’ve tried finding an html widget and putting the code in my text box but its not working. I’m on a mac, could that be the problem?
  Maybe someone can recommend a countdown widget that works well.
