counter / day

is is possible to have a stat were it shows how many visits i have / day on my blog? http://dailymobile.se (wordpress.com)
an example:
Stats for today: 1234 visitors.
and then that stat should be reset every day..
-
i don’t think there’s such a counter. you could do it manually with a text widget, though, and take the numbers off your blog stats.
-
yes there is but most of them are java script counters :( wordpress.com should add this function in its stats that they have now
-
I once at Blogger had this fabulous counter that showed what time of day people would come. It showed most my visitors came during work hours.

Hi there phattrance,
Have you used the “support” button on the top right hand corner of any admin side blog page to send your request into staff during support hours? Weekdays 9-5PM Pacific time. -
i contacted them, leets hope that they add this option :) is there any html counter that shows visits / today?
-
We have a simple counter widget you can place in your sidebar.
These are html counters http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/20/how-do-i-add-a-counter-using-a-widget/
I use shinystats and have page views as well as unique visitors http://www.shinystat.com/
The free hit counter is intended only for personal and nonprofit use, and it can track up to 1,000 page views per day. -

It appears that you have reached the end of the line when it comes to getting more complete stats for a wordpress.com blog. As hosting is inexpensive you may want to get web hosting, download a template from http://wordpress.org which you can run Google analytics on and import the contents of your wordpress.com blog into it.
-
The thing is, even with Google analytics, I don’t know if there is a way to display hits by day on your blog. There may be, but I’ve never seen it myself. The information is there within the data collected, but it would require php and a lot of knowledge to extract it, if it’s possible.

there is alot of java script counter that shows visits / day but wordpress.com doesnt support the java script.. its hard to find a html counter that shows the visits / day
-
You are not telling us anything we don’t already know … lol. You knew this a month ago, right? https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=17079 The bottom line here is that javascript is not allowed, iframes are also not allowed and there are no html counters that I am aware of that will give you what you want so, you have again reached the end of the road.
-
Everything that you want will be available to you if you hire a webhost and download a free template from http://wordpress.org
Quality webhosting is available and it’s inexpensive (I have a hosted wp install myself) so the best course of action to take to meet your needs seems to be the other wordpress option.
