This should help you check and see if there are any extensions in Chrome:
- On your browser, click menu .
- Select More tools > Extensions.
- If you have extensions installed,, you will see them listed.
- To turn off an extension, uncheck the Enabled box. Check the box to turn it on.

That is very odd as I haven’t seen any other reports of this issue. I will try and replicate it. but in the meantime, could you try signing in and back out again on the app?

My apologies, I was taking that from a Google help document. I can see that it was either inaccurate or out of date. This URL in Chrome should take you to the extensions list:
chrome://extensions/
Please note that it will not work if you click it in any other browser.

These are the 4 extensions I chose a while back (I forget how I did it):
Ad.Block Pro
Click&Clean
Disable HTML5 Autoplay
Google Docs OfflineWhich of these do you think might be the offending item?

If the extensions were blocking cookies, you may need to log out of wordpress and back in again in order to get the cookie set properly again. Also, make sure you have quit and reopened Chrome. I am unsure if that is necessary to make extension changes take effect, but it is probably worth doing to make sure.

I quit and reopen Chrome every evening. I don’t keep my PC running during the night. I have just exited and reentered WordPress. The problem persists.

I’m sorry that there doesn’t seem to be an easy solution for this.
But given the fact that it is not happening on other browsers and we are not hearing multiple reports of the same issue on Chrome, the evidence would point to something localized to your computer or Chrome install.
I wish that I had more advice. But for the time being, it seems you will either just have to live with those extra views or use Firefox instead.
