Counting the Days from an event

  Hi,

  I would like to add a day counter to my blog.

  I want to count up the number of days since an event happened rather than count down to a target event.

  “It has been X days since blah event”

  I can’t see anything useful in the widgets section and my forum searches have not produced anything so far.

  Any advice most gratefully received.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Please note that these do not countdown after an event. They countdown the days up to the event.

  I have a ticker on my wp.COM blog:
  -it counts: “…since…” happened
  -find on MANY websites
  -the better sites: offer tickers specifically coded for WordPress
  -it’s free (–DON’T try to remove their visible link, ticker will *poof*)
  -I put it in a widget (for Sidebar) –counts EVERY day !
  -I added it: two years, four months, sixteen days ago!

  btw: look on websites that offer: pregnancy tickers
  (no joke: they have many kinds; allow user to choose all the graphics.)
