Count/Number of Followers NOT matching

Hello:
A few minutes ago, I noticed that the “total number of followers” from the “Follow Blog” widget and the “follower count” from the “Follow Button” widget do NOT match!
For example, the “div.follow-count” element of the “Follow Button” widget is currently showing “378 Followers”; while the “Follow Blog” widget shows “Join 392 other followers”.
And if my calculation is correct, the difference would be 14 followers! I don’t understand why there is a discrepancy here. I expect “consistency”.
Please resolve. Thank you.

In the last 3 hours I received 9 new followers, but my follower count from the widget only went up by about 2. This has been an ongoing problem for me the last few weeks and even though I started a thread about this a few weeks ago, I never received a response from anyone. Not sure why it is doing this, but this a recurring problem for me again.

In the past 12 hours I have gained 17 followers yet my widget counter still hasn’t moved. Is there a problem with the widget counter or some other WP problem?
