  According to my FlagCounter I had a visitor from South Sudan last Monday. According to WordPress ‘views by countries’ I did not have a visitor from South Sudan. But in the calculations three views are missing, the totals from each mentioned country do not add up to to the overall total. Does WordPress not recognize South Sudan? Or is there a more mundane reason?

  As our stats are not real time stats they take hours to update and rectify. http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/ Perhaps that has happened by now on your blog. Please check under views by country on this page. https://wordpress.com/my-stats/

  Thank you for your comment. I checked all the countries and the views of the last seven days. South Sudan is not included, the visitor came last Monday. More a matter of days than of hours for the update.
