Countries

How to get a list of the countries that have accessed my blog. It was easy on the old format.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there –
When you sign in to WordPress.com click on My Sites > Stats. At the top, toggle from insights to days/weeks/months and thenyou will see a box labeled Countries on the right side.
Let me know if I can help with anything else.

Many thanks, Liz.
I did that before, but it only shows the countries that accessed the site for the current year. Formerly one could see ALL the countries over many years from the time this service was provided.
Can you help me out with checking on the countries for the previous years as well?
Thanks again!

Hi again,
If you click on the individual year, from the bar graph on the top of this page: https://wordpress.com/stats/year/javajones.wordpress.com you will see the countries per year. Let me know if you have trouble with that.

Thanks again, Liz.
That worked fine. BUT in the old format, one could see at a glance the totals from each individual country over the years.
It may be a good idea for WordPress to include that too as an option, as then, if one wants to see the numbers from each country over the years it would be available, instead of having to add up the stats over the years.
Much obliged for your help.

I forgot to add that ALL the countries that have accessed the site will also be available at a glance and that will be very useful.
Cheers!

No problem. I’m happy to pass along that feedback, although, I am not able to promise any changes. Best wishes and happy new year :)

Thanks. Hope WordPress will see the sense in the suggestion.
Have a wonderful New Year 😀

Hi Liz,
I have another question!
I don’t see the total number of hits in the stats page anymore. Am I missing something, or has WordPress (for some unknown reason) removed this stat from their new format???
If so, they would do well to include it once more – don’t you think?
Cheers!

Thanks Liz.
It’s most unfortunate (and also rather mystifying) why WordPress has done away with the total list of Countries, as well as the total numbers of hits on the stats page! 🙄
Major bummer!! 😖
Cheers!
